January is National Hot Tea Month

Happy New Year, 2011. January is National Hot Tea Month, so if you are making resolutions, or setting goals for yourself, learning more and drinking more tea could be on your list. There are five types of teas: black, green, oolong, white and the herbal/tisanes. At Kettle River Tea Store we strive to offer our customers a variety of these basic types. Teas are available loose leaf or bagged. The teas we hand pack and package in tea bags are quality loose full or broken leaf teas. No tea dust in our tea bags! Some tea drinkers prefer loose teas to steep in an infuser or loose in a pot and ‘catch’ them in a strainer as they pour out a cup to enjoy. Others enjoy tea in bags. Our tea bags are quality unbleached tea filter paper, no staples or tags so they are environmentally friendly. Let’s learn more about tea together over the coming month, we’d love to hear from you.
