We are shop-keepers!

In late May, the Kettle River Tea Store moved into our own store front. We share a space with another business that had a booth at Fisher Bros. We painted the walls lilac, moved in our teacups, set up shelves with various flavors of tea, strung lights, and garlands of silk flowers, we were ready to open on June 1st. Guests can enjoy a cup of tea any time, we usually have three or four flavors available every day. We are expanding our merchandise, adding electric kettles this month. We have a little nook we call "Patricia's Pantry," in honor of Pete's mum, that we will expand our selection of British Goods available. For now, you can find HP sauce, lemon curd, OXO gravy granules, Heinz beans, Duerr's strawberry preserves, liquorice allsorts, candies....oh, and Walker's Shortbread. If you enjoy Weetabix, we've got that, too. We've set up an awning on the deck, now that it's finally getting warming. You can come in and try a hot or iced tea, sit on the deck and enjoy a mountain view. We are here to share our love of tea and British goods with the community. Collectors of tea cups, come on down, I found a Shelley cup last weekend that is so dainty and sweet, it's a one of a kind find. We've been open two weeks and have great ideas for improving always. Tea tasting will be scheduled for June 27th, we haven't decided what to offer, maybe Pete's blend of Constant Comment, and shortbread. What do you think?
